Santa's Power?

Have you ever wondered where Santa got his power?  You most likely have heard these words from a popular song:

He sees you when your sleeping, he knows when your awake.  He knows if you have been bad or good!  So be good for goodness sake.

This is a pretty powerful attribute.  He is able to see everything we do and we are to be good because of it.  Lets take a look and compare Santa's attributes with that of our Saviors.  You may be amazed as to how similar they are!

1) Being able to see everything that we do.

14From the place of His dwelling He looks On all the inhabitants of the earth;15 He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works.(Psalm 33:14,15 NKJV)

2) He loves children.

15Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them; but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. 16But Jesus called them to Him and said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. 17"Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it." (Luke 18:15-17 NKJV)

3) He brings joy and peace.

13Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13 NKJV)

4) He can go everywhere in one night.

7Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?8If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. 9If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,10Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.11If I say, "Surely the darkness shall fall on me,"Even the night shall be light about me;12Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You.(Psalm 139:7-12 NKJV)

5) He brings gifts.

"the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23b NKJV)
